Grilled Shrimp Skewers bring together bold seasoning and the unmistakable character of an open flame. This recipe leans into everything that makes outdoor cooking so rewarding—heat, aroma, and the anticipation that builds as each skewer begins to take on a light char. With a kiss of mesquite and a bright finish of citrus, every bite carries a balance of depth and freshness that feels right at home in the open air.
Long afternoons outside have a way of stretching into something more—easy conversation, shared plates, and a pace that invites you to stay a little longer. Shrimp cook quickly, making them ideal for gatherings that move effortlessly from one moment to the next. As they sizzle over direct heat, their natural sweetness intensifies, while a well-layered seasoning creates a savory crust that locks in flavor. Skewers keep everything simple and inviting, encouraging guests to gather close, share, and reach for just one more.
High heat is where this recipe comes to life, and a Summerset grill brings the control and consistency needed to get it just right. Even temperatures across the cooking surface allow each skewer to sear quickly while staying tender inside, while responsive burners give you the ability to adjust heat without interrupting the flow of the cook. A properly heated surface creates that light char with ease, and a quick finish of fresh lemon ties everything together with a clean, vibrant finish.
