Grilled Pineapple Mango Chicken Wings Directions

Mango Pineapple BBQ Sauce

  1. Over medium-high heat, sauté onion for 5-6 minutes or until translucent. Add garlic and sauté another minute.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients. Heat to a boil, then reduce to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Allow to cool. It will thicken as it cools.
  3. Pour sauce into a sturdy blender and blend well.

Grill the Chicken Wings

  1. Rub the Chicken Wings with a Dry Rub. I used DizzyPig's Crossroads.
  2. Heat the grill to 350 degrees and use direct heat
  3. Grill the chicken wings for five minutes on each side
  4. When the wings are almost cooked through, apply the pineapple mango BBQ sauce. I recommend layering the sauce to get a nice caramelized coating.
  5. After another minute, remove the chicken wings and serve
