This custom and modern backyard retreat in Costa Mesa is nothing short of spectacular. The long straight lines of the home structure bring a massive scale to this outdoor space that is divided into three zones. The cooking area features a large Summerset grill that appears to float, built-in wide drawers for storage, and wood-burning oven. The eating area is canopied by an overhang from the roof with marble pillars stunningly lit by accent lighting. Centered around a concrete fire pit, the recessed entertaining space is surrounded by hardwood benches for sitting and lounging. The entire retreat is unified by long-profile tile flooring that continues the geometric simplicity with a luxurious finish.
