Kris Jenner and the Property Brothers Transform a SoCal Backyard into a Celebrity IOU Experience

The Property Brothers are two of the most well-known and famous designers on television, constantly providing innovative solutions for day-to-day issues. They recently teamed up with entrepreneur and TV icon Kris Jenner on Celebrity IOU to help a good friend, Lisa, with something life-changing. Following her spouse's death, Lisa returned to the region where she had been raised, and Kris wanted to provide her with a custom outdoor experience. Drew and Jonathan Scott were thrilled to be involved in the project, which promised a one-of-a-kind private retreat.

Celebrity IOU follows some of Hollywood's most famous individuals as they transform the homes of their significant others. In each episode, one celebrity is assisted by Drew and Jonathan Scott to turn their house into something out of the ordinary. In this episode, Kris turns to daughters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner to help with the renovations, building a custom gourmet outdoor kitchen, removing the damaged pool, relocating a new pool, and creating a social area with an outdoor fireplace. We're thrilled to be included in this heart-whelming gift.

For years, Lisa's backyard had remained unused in a beautiful location and required much work. Her previous swimming pool, which had long been empty and damaged, was demolished and replaced with a cozy fireside sitting area where guests could relax after a busy day. After years of living in cramped quarters, the Scott brothers were able to provide Lisa with the outside space she never thought she'd have. They constructed a stunning contemporary pool on the opposite side of the property with secluded greenery, pool loungers, umbrellas, and an outdoor living room.
The Property Brothers built a custom-everything outdoor kitchen with everything Lisa could need to round out the outside experience, including an Estate Grill and matching side burner from our sister company, American Made Grills. They fitted these stainless steel champions into one of two custom islands to create a galley-style kitchen. Each island is modern and elegant, with waterfall counters and plenty of counter space for prepping and serving.

The grill island features a matching backsplash with an upper shelf for storage and a Summerset double refrigerator for plenty of cold storage. The second island is stocked with built-in storage components from Summerset Grills. A dry storage pantry, trash drawer, and dry storage cabinet keep the kitchen area tidy and pristine. Thanks to the sintered stone worktops and breathtaking Southern California weather, Lisa's kitchen will become the outdoor haven of creativity of her dreams.
At the reveal, Lisa was ecstatic. Thanks to the Property Brothers, this barren yard was now a lush olive grove and outdoor living experience. She may now curl up before the fire on a chilly night beneath a warm blanket with her favorite trees as she pleases. We are delighted to have been involved in this project, as the Scott Brothers utilized their creative talents to bring joy and inspiration to a wonderful woman.
